Year12-MATH-Type&Scope クイーンズランド州の12年生が学ぶ数学の内容

Year12-MATH-1-1-Textbook 学習ガイド

>> Subject 1: Essential Mathematics (Applied Subject)

Unit 3: Measurement, Scales, and Data

Year12 MATH 1-3-1

  • Measurement: Calculating area, surface area, and volume for complex shapes (e.g., swimming pools, composite land plots).
  • Scales, Plans, and Models: Reading floor plans, maps, and using scale factors (1:100, etc.) to calculate actual distances.
  • Summarising/Comparing Data: Using statistics (mean, median, mode, range) and box plots to compare two sets of information (e.g., comparing the fuel efficiency of two car models).

Unit 4: Graphs, Chance, and Loans

This unit is heavily focused on personal finance and predicting outcomes.

Year12 MATH 1-4-1

Graphs and Networks

  • Fundamentals: Definitions of vertices, edges, directed graphs (digraphs), and subgraphs.
  • Matrix Representation: Creating and using adjacency matrices.
  • Graph Types: Planar graphs and Euler’s formula (VE+F=2).
  • Paths and Circuits: Exploring walks, trails, paths, Eulerian graphs, and Hamiltonian graphs.

>> Subject 2: General Mathematics (General Subject)

Unit 3: Measurement, Scales, and Data

Year12 MATH 2-3-1

Year12 MATH 2-3-2 学習ガイド

Bivariate Graphs: Understanding relationships between two variables (e.g., “Does study time correlate with higher grades?”). You’ll look at scatterplots and lines of best fit.

Unit 4: Graphs, Chance, and Loans

Year12 MATH 2-4-1

  • Probability: Calculating the “relative frequency” of events (e.g., insurance risks or sports statistics).

Year12 MATH 2-4-2, 2-4-3, 2-4-4, 2-4-5

  • Loans and Interest: Calculating simple and compound interest, understanding credit card debt, and managing personal loans.
